Wireless Terminals

Innovative Systems is currently building into ISTHMUS support for 802.11b wireless LANS and the latest generation of Pocket PC wireless terminals from Symbol and other suppliers. However our most popular RF devices are still the low cost RF terminals from Worth Data. These terminals come with an integrated barcode reader or you can attach a separate laser scanner. They also feature audible vocal messages and prompts.

Our New Zealand customers are using these terminals (in some cases together with a back of hand glove based laser scanner) for picking shoes, apparel, and electronic components.

These terminals are also being used for product and location queries around the warehouse, scanning cartons into carriers TCP's (Transport Container Packs), carton consolidation, and stocktakes.  More...
