ISTHMUS maintains a fully location mapped warehouse with picking,
reserve and quarantine locations. As well as tracking the quantity
on hand at every location, it also records the allocation of stock
when orders are selected for picking or when replenishments or stock
movements are scheduled. Other features of the warehousing component
include:-
- A full audit trail of
all stock movements within the warehouse, accessible online by
date and time, by product or by location.
- Automatic generation
of replenishment requests.
- Recording of batch or
lot data and or use-by date and segregation of stock accordingly.
- FIFO allocation of stock.
- Full computerised stock
counting facilities include the ability to do cyclic stocktake
by product grouping, area within the warehouse, or triggered by
a pick hit threshold.
- Generation of back orders.
- Generation of put-away
advice and pallet labels at receiving.
